100% love - REVIEW

PRODUCTION HOUSE : GEETHA ARTS

STORY-DIRECTION : SUKUMAR

PRESENTS : ALLU ARVIND

PRODUCER : BUNNY VAAS

SCREENPLAY : J HARI PRASAD

CAST n CREW : Naga Chaitanya, Tamannah, Naresh, Vijay Kumar, K R Vijaya, etc.,

Genre : Romance

Story :
First - half : The story is about Balu (NC) n Mahalakshmi (Tammanah). Naga Chaitanya dons the role of a nerd.. His role is theoritical and practical. He is proud about his score and that he's a college topper. Later part is about how Mahalakshmi dominates him in studies.. Their competition against the third person who dominates both Balu and Mahalakshmi.
The interval bang doesn't have any twist and its quite predictable.

Second half : It resembles something like a de javu of KUSHI. ego clashes is the crux of the second half. the latter part is quite slow compared to the former part.

Strengths and weakness :
Screenplay Direction and Comedy are the strengths of the film. esp. Tamannah chicken eating and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam's love for his car are higlights.
Story, Interval scene and pre-climax are predictable and routine.

Comedy : comedy by the kids and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam are hillarious.

Songs : I personally loved Aho Balu, Infactuation and A square B square.
Diyalo Diyala wasn't great. Ringa ringa of Arya 2 dominated completely.
Picturization of Aho Balu was artificial. Song was better than the video.

Analysis : On a whole, 100% love has got entertainment with much content. It's surely a SUKUMAR film outright from the titles. if you're a student you'll love the titles.

Urbane flick. Can't predict at B and C. It has an edge of it being a minimal budgeted film.

Score : 3/5

2010 YEAR HAD VERY LITTLE TO SHOW - TELUGU CINEMA

BIGGIES :

POSITIVE RESPONSE : (ascending order)

1. YE MAYA CHESAVE
GENRE : love/romance *starring : Naga Chaitanya , Samantha .

POINTS : received applause from critics.. novelty of the theme.. music scored by
A.R.RAHMAN got instantaneous positive talk. Different theme irrespective of other love stories. Narration by the protagonist. Hence tolly starts 2010 with a bang !!
Proved the sustainability at the B.O !

VERDICT : HIT with good openings !

2. PRASTHANAM
GENRE : social/political *starring : Sharwanand , SaiKumar, Sundeep Kushan, Jeeva etc.,
POINTS : Critical acclaim for the role of Saikumar and his authority in dialogues. Theme of the movie is fresh unlike regular 'run-a-mill' stories rather than a defined plot of rivalry of step brothers. Saikumar is sure to deserve critics and audience appreciations.

PUNCH : Movie despite of having a good theme lack of biggies except Saikumar
couldn't manage a long run , which was expected.

NOMINATED FOR INDIAN PANORAMA OF 2010. PRESTIGE FOR TELUGU FILM INDUSTRY!

VERDICT : HIT

3. DARLING
GENRE : romance/drama *starring : Prabahas, Kajal, Shradda Das etc.,
POINTS : Cute movie ! Family film is the right word. Music scored by G.V.Prakash is another highlight to the film. Movie has good comedy episodes. Complete entertainer !

VERDICT : ABOVE AVERAGE TO HIT (good openings)

4. SIMHA
GENRE : action/straight *starring : Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sneha Ullal, Namitha etc.,
POINTS : Firstly treat for NBK fans. Though a regular 'masala fick' ,movie was directed well without flaws. Better than other NBK films past 3-4 years like (okkamagadu, maharadhi, mithrudu etc.,)

PUNCH : brilliant openings and collections were sustained. brought profits to the buyers of the film.

VERDICT : HIT at the B.O !

5. VEDAM
GENRE : social/general *starring : Allu Arjun, Manoj, Anushka, Manoj Bajpai etc.,

POINTS : Krish, the director of the film after the success of 'GAMYAM' again comes up with the present social life of various people and their perspective its affects on the society are portrayed brilliantly.

PUNCH : Applause for a movie reflecting PRESENT SOCIETY !

VERDICT : HIT

6. MARYADHA RAMANNA
GENRE : comedy/drama *starring : Sunil, Saloni etc.,
POINTS : Successful director of today's South Indian Cinema by the brand "an ss rajamouli film" i.e., S.S.Rajamouli is back after the huge and storming success of MAGADHEERA. But, Maryadha Ramanna is a light and emotional film inspired from the 1923 flick 'Our Hospitality'. The main highlight of the movie is the rib-tickling comedy episodes. Movie with its theme and the brand of the director S.S.Rajamouli and comedian Sunil brought good openings and continued its stamina at the box-office.

PUNCH : Despite of today's film industry ghost 'piracy' the film went on for 100-day mark, which is notable !

7. ROBO
GENRE : scientific/technical/sci-fi *starring : Rajini Kanth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan etc.,

POINTS : Movie is dubbed into Telugu. Tamil title is 'Endhiran'. Movie is based on the theme "Man and Machine". What if Machine dominates Humans? Technically well made film. Rajini Kanth entertained his fans after a span of 3 years.

PUNCH : Whopping budget.. High technical values.. Music scored by Tamil 'Mozart' A.R.Rahman
RAJINIKANTH : Power of South Indian Superstar Rajinikanth always infuences at the BOX OFFICE.
HUGE BOX-OFFICE COLLECTIONS in Tamil as well as Telugu !!

8.BRINDAVANAM *starring : Jr.NTR , Samantha, Kajal etc.,
GENRE : family drama/straight
POINTS : After huge hyped films such as Puli , Mahesh Khaleja getting a negative talk. The benifit was thoroughly enjoyed by Brindavanam as it is a family film.
POINTS : A regular 'run-on-the-mill'. With all ingredients of a regular commercial. The stardom of NTR helped to drag crowds for the openings.
PUNCH : Positive talk from the first show was an additional advantage for the movie. As no more biggies in the time of october after Brindavanam helped the movie to sustain the collections.

VERDICT : HIT with good openings !

Others : In the month of December are yet to come three star hero films "ORANGE', 'NAGAVALLI' and 'RAGADA'. We have to wait and see if they are able to add to the HIT LIST too. But compared to 2008 and 2009... 2010 was a dull year for HITS.

RAKTACHARITRA - the title is deserved.. Intensified

Story - screenplay - direction: Ram Gopal Varma
Cinematography: Amol Rathod
Background score : Dharam Sandeep

NOTE: A HIGH VOLTAGE ..INTENSE.. EMOTIONAL MOVIE.. DESERVES BRILLIANCE FOR THE BACKGROUND TOO !!!

PLOT : The movie is based on a fictional story of "elements faced in true life".. The movie starts off by the voice over given by RGV. Anandapuram (ananthapur) is related to, in the film. It is a true story based on the true story af two arch rivals and their families (paritala ravi and obul reddy). Vivek Oberoi plays the role of Pratap (Paritala Ravi) and Abhimanyu Singh plays the role of Bukka Reddy (Obul Reddy).

Performances : Vivek Oberoi's role was intense with his competitive style of punch and authoritative performance. Abhimanyu Singh was excellent too. He had the personality of the dread looking villain.
Shatrugna Sinha had really performed the fictional role of Sr.NTR with the catch words of his style "brother" and "topic over"

Conclusion : "Raktasitham aina vanti taratarala RAKTHACHARITRA".."Dorikithe Chastavu" and "Gundello" have bombastic screen emotion.

RAKTACHARITRA "THUMBS UP"

PLOT : The movie starts off showing Rajini kanth as scientist working on his Robot.. He gives his inputs.. Explains by showing various fields Mathematics arts etc., next.. (Sana) Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays as Rajini's love...

First half : First half completely deals with Rajini played as Dr.Vasikar designing his Robot (another Rajini) 'Chitti' showing it to the members of ROBOTICS to make it accept.. firstly he fails.. due to a technical snag.. it then goes on how Rajini inculcate feelings into Chitti.the robot.. ultimately he falls in love with the love interest of the scientist
